Go Fishing
Ludington is known for it’s fishing, both on the “big lake”, our inland lakes and rivers. You can fish from a boat, or a kayak, from shore or off a pier for salmon, trout, steelhead, perch, crappie, bluegill, pike and more. If you don’t have a boat, don’t worry! Check out the fishing piers at Cartier Park and Copeyon Park, fish from the north and south lighthouse piers (safe if Lake Michigan is calm), from the harbor pier, and from the shore at Stearns Park.
