Our traditional Octoberfest events – beer & Music festival, pub crawl games and chili walk – have been cancelled.
This year we will be celebrating the arrival of October in a different way. The traditional Oktoberfest in Germany takes place the two weeks prior to the first Sunday in October. To mimic this festival (which was also cancelled this year) we are offering some fun, self guided events that you can do here in Ludington during that time frame.
This year our Octoberfest which will feature a Scarecrow Walk, a Soup Challenge, a passport with coupons from downtown restaurants and retailers (find passports at retailers that have a scarecrow), and a list of events that our businesses are hosting.
Some of those events include the debut of a new downtown sculpture, a local apple sale, live music, craft nights, live music, a rock scavenger hunt, a stein making class, and more!

In lieu of the chili walk, we’re challenging you to try a cup of soup from all participating restaurants!
