1. ART Rocks – 323 S James St.
ART Rocks offers a variety of items from notecards, prints, cutting boards, stained glass, rock specimens and handmade sterling silver jewelry, plus large wooden sculptures, tables, and original paintings in oil, watercolor and acrylic. There is something for everyone to enjoy in beautiful art pieces.
2. Dimitridon Studios – 225 W Ludington Ave.
While this new store highlights gorgeous rocks, it also consigns with local Michigan and Kentucky artists. Drop by to see what’s new!
3. Ludington Area Center for the Arts – 107 S Harrison St.
Not only is this a hub for art and music workshops, but it also hosts art exhibits that rotate monthly. Stop in from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday (11-2 Saturday) to see the latest displays. Additionally, stop by the gift shop, Art Shop 107, inside the arts center, where you can purchase works from local artisans. LACA is open until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays.
4. My Happy Place – 208 W Ludington Ave. This art studio features pottery, jewelry, textiles, purses, hand-forged metal works, candles, and limited-edition original art and prints.
